Piers Browne's accomplished and charming etchings of the English countryside reveals him as a genuine romantic, dedicated to presenting us with the beauty of the world he sees. He lives in Wensleydale, North Yorkshire where he uses his finely classically honed skills to express the intensity of passion he feels for light and colour. Since 1972 Piers has regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the New English Arts Club (NEAC). In November 2011 Piers won the prestigious ING Discerning Eye, North of England Art Prize.
We will be exhibiting more than 60 exquisite landscape etchings, and rarely exhibited oil paintings from the last 35 years. All work will be for sale, if you have any queries please contact the gallery for a price list.
