The Open House.

Crouch End, London

The Brief
The Open House project explores the relationship between contemporary art, atmosphere and lived space. Developed through the collaboration between Highgate Contemporary Art and Stroud & Ivory, the project focuses on creating interiors that feel thoughtful, layered and deeply personal.

Rather than approaching a room through rigid design rules, the project begins with mood, materiality and visual balance, allowing artwork, texture, light and objects to shape the character of a space naturally over time.

From private homes to creative and hospitality environments, The Open House Project considers how art can transform the feeling of an interior, bringing warmth, depth and a sense of identity to the spaces we inhabit most closely.

Rooted in a shared curatorial language, the project sits between gallery, interior styling and editorial living, creating spaces that feel both refined and genuinely lived in.
